Miss Atlntico Internacional Beauty Pageant
The Miss Atlntico Internacional (Miss Atlantic International) pageant began in Uruguay in 1987, but probably was not international until 1995. It is always held in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

AT THE world finals of Miss Diva Universe World 2011 at Federal Hotel ballroom recently, 29 beauty queens from 29 nations participated for six titles.
However, as all 29 contestants appeared to be living in Kuala Lumpur on a permanent basis, we could conclude they were locals in masquerade.
Still, most looked the part as Miss South Africa bore a striking resemblance to Michelle Obama and Miss Zimbabwe could pass off as a stunning African.
Miss Vietnam and Miss China could not be faulted and Miss Netherlands was blonde and blue eyed.

Judges were a formidable cast which included Datuk Shah Rezza, Datuk Dr Jalil, Jovian Mandagie, Michael Ong, Maznah Zuklifi and songstress Ning Baizura, who later sang her latest hitRaksasaaccompanied by five beauty contestants.
The pageant opened with the traditional national costume parade with enough feathers, fur, sequins, beads and capes worthy ofMoulin Rouge.
The audience, mostly supporters of the contestants, roared as each paraded on the catwalk in magnificent costumes representative of their homelands.
Miss Thailand brought the roof down when she announced, I am from Thailand, the Land of Cosmetic Surgery! as she wiggled her assets seductively.
As they changed into evening wear and cocktail wear and finally back into evening wear for the coronation, the audience was entertained by Ika Fancy Dancers.
Like all ! pageants in Malaysia, there was no swimsuit category but as most finalists appeared to be bursting at the seams, none complained when it came to the visuals.
The 29 whittled to 15 and emcees Azwan Ali and Chef Zam grilled and tortured them exquisitely, making devilishly snide remarks but all in good fun and no offence was taken.
The questions were shockingly merciless and tough. A few stumbled but most rose to the occasion and fired back powerful artillery that were amazingly sharp, witty and for the most part amusing.
By the weirdest coincidence, Miss Egypt picked this question; If she was the President of Egypt, what would she do to quell the turmoil? She replied, Reduce food prices, reduce inflation and increase salary.
Miss Thailand was asked which Malaysian food had the best chance to go global?
She said, Six months before coming to this contest, my Government sent me here to learn Bahasa Malaysia and after six months of eating Malaysian food, I can say it isnasi lemak. Every one from every race loves it as it is so delicious.
There were 11 subsidiary titles with Miss Diva Globe (won by Miss Thailand), Miss Diva Asia Pacific (Miss Netherlands), Miss Diva International (Miss USA), Miss Diva Trans International (Indonesia), Miss Diva World (Miss South Africa) and Miss Diva Universe which was the main title won by Miss Singapore.
She also won RM3,000 and hampers sponsored by BML Skincare.

FIT FOR MISS UNIVERSE CONTEST.

She looks to young here. Her look is more suitable to enter Miss Universe and the best age for her to participate would be Miss Universe 2014 when she is 21 years old. Most girls look their best when they are 21 or 22.
2)
She is in the fresh face category beauty and look beyond her age. Very competitive to compete against South American beauties as she has the look to win Miss Universe.
FIT FOR MISS WORLD CONTEST.
1)
Many pageant fans around the world already like her and would like to see her competing in Miss Universe. But my own opinion, her look is more suitable to enter Miss World or Supermodel of The World contest. This look also very suitable to be Victoria's Secret Angel. Hhmm, anyhow, she is quite short at 170cm for international pageants but her look will save her.

she looks to European and this kind of look suits more to Julia Morley's taste but not for Miss Universe type of beauty.

SULTANAH ZANARIAH
JOHOR BAHRU Dua kerabat diraja Johor, Sultanah Zanariah Iskandar dan Sultanah Nora Ismail tidak lagi membawa gelaran Sultanah berkuat kuasa semalam.
Gelaran kedua-duanya telah digantikan kepada Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Puan dengan dibahasakan sebagai Tunku Puan atau Tunku.
Sultanah Zanariah ialah isteri kepada Almarhum Sultan Iskandar manakala Sultanah Nora merupakan isteri ketiga kepada nenda Sultan Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
Setiausaha Jumaah Majlis Diraja Johor, Datuk Abdul Rahim Ramli berkata, berikutan itu, mereka kini tidak lagi menikmati segala keistimewaan dan kemudahan seperti mana sebelum ini.
Beliau berkata, penarikan gelaran itu diputuskan sendiri oleh Sultan Ibrahim setelah mendapat nasihat ahli-ahli jumaah majlis kerana kedua-duanya tidak pernah dimahkotakan dalam satu majlis rasmi kerajaan.

Beauty School is all about South America this week! Dean Harris is convinced that South America is the world's sexiest continent, and he was all agog today in the faculty lounge over Leryn Franco, Miss Universe Paraguay 2006 first runner-up, who graces the pages of the 2011 Swimsuit Edition of Sports Illustrated. Leryn was born in Paraguay to Uruguayan parents, and she competed in the 2008 Olympics (javelin). Miss Universe Paraguay must have been one incredible pageant, because that was the year that Lourdes Arevalo won and went on to make top five at Miss Universe.

Gemma makes Msia proud in Miss Chinese WA 2011.

MIRI: Malaysian beauties in Australia have again done Malaysia proud in the Miss Chinese Western Australia (WA) Beauty Pageant.

Gemma Taylor, 27, a Malaysian Chinese from Ipoh and of Australian mix parentage came second after Eva Li, 20, from China at the Miss Chinese WA 2011 held at Gloucester Park, Australia.
A lawyer from Perth, standing at 175cm, Gemma was also crowned Miss Popularity as voted by the guests during the Grand Finale and walked home with AUD2000 plus many other prizes.
Advisor of the pageant and reigning Miss Chinese WA 2010, Marlene Lim said although Gemma only came in second, she was still the pride of Malaysia.
I am very happy to have won the first Miss WA in 2010 myself and proud of Gemma too.
We, in Australia, including makeup sponsor, Motives Lesley Wong and another girl Emily, both from Miri, carry the Malaysia Boleh spirit wherever we go and hoped that other Malaysians would do likewise, said Marlene to The Borneo Post when met on Monday night at a triple happiness celebration organised by Michelle Mok, a former public relation officer of Curtin Sarawak.
Marlene said another contestant and finalist from Malaysia, Sharon Liew, 26, who stands at 178cm, also did equally well.
Sharon was also a hot favourite and she is a Chiropractor from Kota Kinabalu.
Meanwhile, the 2011 winner, Eva Li, standing at 172cm, a student of Edith Cowan University walked away with AUD3000 with other prizes and a return ticket to Japan.
Marlene,! a Miria n being the reigning queen for the 2010 Miss Chinese WA was given the honour to crown Eva. The second runner up was Wenjing Sun, also a student from China.
The other finalists were Shally Winshwe (Myanmar), Jenny Nguyen (Vietnam), Icy Hu (Hong Kong), Chotika Pumyantiya (Thailand), Angel Yu, Angela, Cherrin Chai and Nicole Huang, all from China.
The second Miss Chinese WA 2011 held on Feb 11 at Gloucester Park as part of Gloucester Park Chinese New Year celebration events attracted over 12,000 audiences.
