The grand National Theatre of El Salvador was the venue last night for a gala ceremony that saw Alejandra Ochoa crowned as Nuestra Belleza El Salvador Universo 2011, giving her the right to compete at Miss Universe 2011 this September. Marcela Castro was first runner-up and will represent El Salvador at Miss World 2011. Sofa Cuesta was the second runner-up.
