Miss Turkey is a national beauty pageant for unmarried women in Turkey, who personify beauty with intelligence. The first beauty contest was held on September 2, 1929 with the backing of the government, and the title holder was Feriha Tevfik.
The chosen winner will represent the Turkey at the Miss Universe and Miss World. Miss Turkey Earth will represent Turkey in Miss Earth. Miss Turkey International will represent Turkey in Miss International. Miss Turkey Tourism will represent Turkey in Miss Tourism Queen International.
